Good Luck Matt Schneider!
He is one of
30 finalists in the St. Louis Regional spelling bee this
weekend. Last weekend he competed at Maryville University in a
written round where he had to spell all 30 words correctly to
move on and he did. This weekend he goes back to Maryville for
the oral bee round. The winner this weekend moves on to
Washington D.C.!

Students
learn when they are in school. That is why your son’s or
daughter’s presence at school is a key variable in the formula for
academic achievement.
Please assist
us in achieving
Hollenbeck’s goal of 95.5% attendance for the 2009-2010 school
year.
Thank you for
your continued support!

A note from our principal Mr. Borgschulte:
Dear
Hollenbeck Community:
I have
terrific information to share with you in regards to how students
are achieving academically at Hollenbeck. As many of you have
read in the local newspaper, MAP scores were released by the State
of Missouri. Our students reported tremendous overall growth
in the top two categories of MAP (proficient & advanced) when
compared to previous years:
